Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GreatBudget, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and GREATCODE SRL (CUI RO43653070), registered at Str. Onestilor 25B, Bl. T1, Et. 3, Ap. 304, Cod 410232, Romania.

2. Description of Service

GreatBudget is a personal finance management application that allows you to track budgets, categorise transactions, import financial data, and connect bank accounts to automatically synchronise your transaction history. The service is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract in your country of residence to use GreatBudget.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate information when registering and using the service.

Notify us immediately at contact@greatcode.ro if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Bank Connections

GreatBudget allows you to connect your bank accounts through a regulated open-banking interface. By initiating a bank connection, you:

• Authorise GreatBudget to retrieve your transaction history from the selected account(s).
• Understand that this authorisation is granted directly between you and your bank and can be revoked at any time from the Settings section of the application.
• Acknowledge that GreatBudget has read-only access and cannot initiate payments or modify your bank account.

The accuracy and availability of transaction data depends on your bank and the open-banking infrastructure. GREATCODE SRL is not liable for delays, errors, or omissions in data received from your bank.

6. No Financial Advice

GreatBudget is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisory service. Nothing in the application constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape any part of the service.
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GREATCODE SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or financial loss, arising from your use of or inability to use GreatBudget. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or €10 if you have not paid us anything).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings section of the application. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of GreatBudget after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
